Semitar Spice Dream at CluainUltaigh, Benji is a lovely exhibit with many UK Championship Show Class wins, Stud Book and has a Res CC.
In early 2010 we had good fortune to acquire, Semitar Spice Dream at CluainUltaigh, our "Benji" (Dam: Semitar Special Spice Sire: Rannerdale The Irish Wizard at Semitar) (half brother to Alpha) He achieved Junior Champion, Junior Diploma very quickly. Winner of the Puppy Dog Class at the SSCNI (2010) which qualified him for Crufts 2011 (see results section). Benji has also won best puppy dog at the Leeds City and District Canine Association and a VHC at East of England when shown for us by Eddie Cushley, plus he has been best of breed many times at regional open shows and has won Group One Ten Times and has been placed Res Best in Show twice. He was placed third at the English Shetland Sheepdog Show in the Junior class (2010) under Kay Hateley (Mohnesee). We have had a lot of beautiful moments with Benji and one of the highs has to be him achieving his first Green Star at Tralee Championship Show 2011 where the previous year he had achieved his Reserve Green Star.
Benji is a great dog and very much loved by us. He is a joy to travel with and he loves his time at shows and at dog friendly accommodation. In 2015 Benji continued to enjoy success in the show ring and has been placed many times in Post Graduate and in Limit. Benji has continued to have a successful time in the ring and along with being awarded a Res CC at the Belfast Canine Association All Breed Championship Show he has been Reserve Best in Show at Irish Opens show along with a Res Best Dog at the SSCNI which is the second time the CluainUltaigh kennel had achieved this honour at this show.
