We are located in Bandon which is the 'Gateway to the West Cork'  region of Ireland. Bandon, in Irish Droichead na Bandan (the Bridge at Bandon), lies on the River Bandon between two hills. The town of  Bandon was created in 1604 and our family moved there in 1998.

The kennel name 'CluainUltaigh' came from our house name and when we decided to have a 'kennel' it was the natural choice for new breeders and exhibitors of these wonderful little dogs. The transition from pet to the show arena has been at times a hard road for a fledgling kennel and with absolutely no experience but just a love for Shelties.

Please look around the site and if you like what you see please leave a comment.

The Shetland Sheepdog is also known as the 'Sheltie' and as the name suggests originated from the Shetland Isles in Scotland. The Sheltie is a loyal and affectionate breed of dog; they are very intelligent and extremely willing to learn new tricks, they are just the best and No Home is Complete withiout a Sheltie!

When we do breed puppies we try to produce puppies that are of sound stock with quality breeding behind them. All our puppies are born and reared indoors and are well socialised having been introduced to other breeds. Ocassionally puppies are available to loving homes as pets, they will have been vet checked, wormed and micrchipped.
